Gary Oliver – Managing Director and Owner of BSG

Gary is a highly experienced security professional with over 30 years in the military, law enforcement and commercial security sectors.

He has a proven record of dealing with complex risk management issues in challenging, stressful and hostile conditions in the field, as well as providing security solutions to Corporate Home Offices and Headquarters.

He excels in bridging the gaps between Corporate Executives, Corporate Security and Project Field Teams by ensuring that there is an understanding and cohesion between the departments; this achieves the crucial objective of ensuring the Project or Field Team meets its deliverables whilst at the same time ensuring the Corporate Security mandate is being fulfilled.

This understanding has been gained from having lived and worked in over 45 countries, providing dynamic and bespoke strategic and operational solutions to enable corporations and other agencies mitigate their risks, and at the same time meeting the duty of care responsibilities to their staff, families, board members and shareholders.

Gary ensures that all clients receive the bespoke, balanced and personal services and attention that BSG is known for.

BSG Directors, Managers and Field Consultants

Gary is supported by a team of Directors, Managers and Field Consultants that have been drawn from a broad range of professional backgrounds.

BSG only fields the best and we only ever deploy managers we have worked extensively with over a period of time. Our candidates for this kind of role have a broad range of experience. Prior to a deployment of a BSG Field Manager we will forward the individual’s resume for client approval and would be delighted to set up telephone or Skype interviews prior to deployment. Typically candidates come from a military or law-enforcement background which is of course relevant, however BSG will only use individuals that also possess sound commercial understanding, an appreciation of corporative legislation, a financial and investigative aptitude as well as total comprehension of corporate liability issues and responsibilities of duty of care to employees.

As members of The American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), all personnel that work for BSG are required to comply with its code of ethics:
